The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your account and, for vopti, your subscription. We run no advertising, no third-party analytics trackers, and we never sell or rent your data. Payments happen on this website through Stripe — our apps collect no payment information at all. You can ask us to export or delete everything at any time.

1. Who we are

VirtueNeuro LLC ("VirtueNeuro", "we") is a United States limited liability company. We build the mobile and web applications vopti (nutrition and training-volume optimization) and hedqe (educational finance tooling), operate this website, and publish open research. For anything in this policy, contact privacy@virtueneuro.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website www.virtueneuro.com, the vopti app (iOS, Android, web), and the hedqe app (iOS, Android, web). It does not cover third-party sites we link to.

3. What we collect, and why

Account (vopti and hedqe)

Email address and authentication credentials — to create and secure your account. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are never visible to us.
Language and theme preferences — so the product works the way you set it.

vopti product data

The inputs you provide: body metrics (such as weight and measurements), nutrition entries, and training-volume logs. This is the entire point of the product — the simulator and optimizer run on your inputs.
These inputs are self-reported wellness data you choose to enter. vopti is not a medical device, provides no medical advice, and we do not collect clinical or diagnostic data.

hedqe product data

hedqe computes on numbers you type in (bond parameters, cash flows, portfolio inputs). Calculations run on your device or our servers, and are stored only if you save scenarios to your account. hedqe uses no market data feeds and never asks for brokerage credentials.

Payments (website only)

vopti subscriptions ($1.99/month or $19.99/year) are purchased on this website and processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never receive or store them. We keep only your subscription status, plan, and Stripe customer reference so the apps know your account is active.
The mobile apps sell nothing and collect no payment information.

Support and hosting

If you email us, we keep the correspondence to resolve your issue.
Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and reliability. We add no advertising or third-party analytics trackers on top.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data — to anyone, ever.
We run no ads and no ad-tech SDKs.
We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
We collect no precise location, no contacts, no photos, no health-platform integrations (unless a future opt-in feature says so explicitly, with its own consent step).

These providers process data on our instructions under their own security and privacy commitments. They are based in the United States; by using our products you understand your data is processed in the US and wherever these providers operate infrastructure.

6. Retention and deletion

Account and product data are kept while your account exists.
Delete your account (in-app, or by emailing us) and we delete your personal data from production systems within 30 days; encrypted backups roll off within 90 days.
Billing records are retained as long as tax and accounting law requires.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, we honor these on request: access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, export it in a portable format, and object to or restrict processing. Email privacy@virtueneuro.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA/UK you may also complain to your supervisory authority; if you are in California, we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as the CCPA/CPRA defines those terms.

8. Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age your jurisdiction sets), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our providers. Access to production data is limited to what operating the service requires. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change on this page; for significant changes affecting app users, we will notify you in the app or by email.
